Sam Castro is a young illustrator who graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a BFA in Illustration in May 2025. Known for her vibrant colors and captivating compositions, Sam’s work beautifully embraces the art of imaginative storytelling. With a strong foundation in editorial art, Sam plans to shift her focus to pursue becoming a medical illustrator. With a strong work ethic and an enthusiastic spirit, Sam is excited to share her creative vision with the professional world.

Sam is currently pursuing post baccalaureate studies at Cal State East Bay’s Pre-Professional Health Academic Program. Upon completion of her certificate, she plans to apply to graduate school for Medical Illustration.
